  An open parkland with play areas for younger children, tennis courts and basketball courts for older people, great strolling paths benches for rests and fitness equipment for public use, also contains an indoor activity centre that may be used for small charge, host finish line of annual Belfast Marathon.

  Ormeau park is one of the better parks in the city in my opinion. There are a variety of paths, including dirt paths and tarmac. The park is not a flower garden but more a natural area of large trees and grass with a football area, rugby area, tennis area and basketball courts.
  
  Many people cycle here and there are stunt jumps on the northern side of the park. In good weather it's an excellent time to spend an afternoon.
  
  There are toilets on site, and a place to fill water bottles, as well as training equipment and jogging paths.
